Flagpole, condos, frozen yogurt, Route 10 widening

Flagship  Carwash, that recently purchased and renovated the $5 Car Wash at 12001 Bermuda CRossroads Lane, installing a new $5 wash under the Flagstop banner, has received a permit to erect a 90 foot flagpole at site. Their signature giant American flag is expected to arrive soon.

Rivermont Condominiums in the Rivermont multi-family development in Enon has received a permit to construct seven additional condominiums on River Rock Drive.

CB Richard Ellis Real Estate reported they leased 3,300 square feet to Sid Tool Co., Inc. at 7425 Whitepine Road adjacent to the Chesterfield County Airport.

Sweet Frog is now open at the Shoppes at River Forest opposite Walmart on Iron Bridge Road. Sweet Frog has leased 1,480 square feet and sells ice cream and frozen yogurt by the ounce.

The Priority group of auto dealerships is adding a Volkswagen dealership to its mix at Walthall. It will be Priority’s fourth dealership at the Walthall location. Ellmer Properties Chesterfield LLC with its home office in Chesapeake last week received a permit to begin construction on the showroom.

The site plan for Chester Village Green Apartments phase II is now being reviewed by Chesterfeild’s planning department. The 65-unit complex will complement the existing complex of over 200 units.

The Commonwealth Transportation Board (CTB) released the draft Six-Year Improvement Program which includes funding for projects in Governor McDonnell’s historic transportation package. Locally it includes funding the completion of the Route 10 widening from Ware Bottom Springs Road to Meadowville Road. The project currently under construction widens West Hundred Road from Interstate 95 to Ware Bottom Springs Road.
