Police make second arrest in murder of Devin Hawkins

Police have arrested two men in the aftermath of the killing of Devin Hawkins on April 23. Jermon Rasheem Woodson-Jones, 21,  was arrested, after turning himself in, on warrants for gang participation and accessory after the fact.

As part of the murder investigation police have charged 18-year-old Jermaine Powell, of the 15200 block of Timsberry Terrace, with gang participation. According to police, gang participation is a charge in which police can show a group acting as a gang and one or more of the group have committed an offense which can be defined as a felony that tends to benefit the gang. Then police charge all associates who are present or participating with gang participation. 

Police continue their search for William Timothy Walker and have obtained additional warrants for him including gang participation.
