Local eatery spices it up a bit and creates ambiance

The two Italians that recently opened Soprano’s Italian Bistro in the courtyard at Chesterfield Meadows Shopping Center are shaking things up a bit.  They formed the partnership to bring an affordable eatery to the folks in the courthouse area.  Traffic hasn’t been what they had hoped, so they regrouped.  The lights have been turned down and fresh paint covered the green and red-checkered walls. Full-size images of Italy and New York serve as dividers throughout the space, and they added booths.  With a new menu and wait staff, partner Claudio Anzelmo says they are now having a great lunch crowd and soon with the addition of an approved beer and wine license, hope to have steady diners in for dinner.

The original concept was built around a selection process from foods made fresh each day that  include four different types of pastas, four different meat entrees, four different salads, four soups and four sides.  Anzelmo calls it the Pick-System.  The restaurant is now offering fresh food made to order.  “Diners are preferring to sit down and make their selections from the menu versus the cafeteria-style we started with,” said Anzelmo.  “The menu has been expanded with more entrée selections as well a lunch menu and several choices of burgers, paninis, wraps and sandwiches.”

“Our customers like the new look and the changes we have made with the contemporary style décor and our generous menu selections,” he said. “If you love Italian food, we hope you will join us one day for lunch or dinner.”

Soprano’s Italian Bistro offers something for everyone who loves Italian food and looking for places to eat when it comes to the bottom line.
