Masked men rob area restaurant at gun point

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to identify and find two men who robbed the Golden Corral at 11 S. Providence Road on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at about 11:30 p.m.

The suspects approached a group of employees in the parking lot outside the Golden Corral and forced a manager and other employees into the building and into a back office.

One suspect ordered the manager at gunpoint to open a safe. After the manager was unable to open the safe, the suspects took some money that was not secured in the safe.

The suspects were last seen running toward the Providence Green Subdivision. The witnesses described both suspects as masked black males, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, wearing gloves and dark clothing and armed with handguns.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects. You may view photos at crimesolvers.net. From the main page, select the Crime of the Week link.
