Max sees double

Hello and welcome to the early morning Dogpound special.  I had a strange morning the other day; Max is usually ready to go out first thing in the morning especially since his last time out is around supper time.   So I stumble out of the master bedroom and down the hall to the utility room; open up the door to the garage and push the garage door opener. Max goes out, does his thing, and waits at the bottom of the garage steps until I finish getting ready for work. Anyway, I reach for the door to the garage and out of the corner of my eye I see a dog to my left...I was thinking, “Wait a minute wasn’t Max behind me in the hallway?” I looked…and yes…Max was behind me!  If he is behind me then how can he also be over by the washer and dryer?  Well, it wasn’t Max…but it was another dog…my neighbors black lab. She must have been inside the garage when I shut the door and somehow she managed to come inside without me noticing. So from around 8 p.m., she was content to just stay in the utility room ‘til the following morning. I told Max if he is going to have sleep-over’s he needs to clear it with me first. LOL

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
“Guest should be invited because they are wanted, and they should stay just long enough to keep it that way.”

BABY WORDS

When we brought our new-born son to the pediatrician for his first checkup, the doctor said, “You have a cute baby.” Smiling, I said, “I’ll bet you say that to all the new parents.” “No,” he replied, “just to those whose babies are really good-looking.” “So what do you say to the others?” I asked. “He looks just like you.”

MONEY TALK

A young investor asked an old rich man how he made his money. The old man replied, “Well son, it was 1932, during the Great Depression. I was down to my last nickel, so I bought an apple, polished it ‘til it glowed and sold it for 10 cents. I went back and bought two apples and repeated that process each time reinvesting my money in apples.” “And that’s how you accumulated your fortune?” the young man asked? “Heavens no! “ the man replied, “Then my wife’s father died and left us a fortune.”

That is a wrap.  As always be good, play safe, and remember to be a good host.
