Chesterfield selected for BGB U.S. facility

BGB Technology Inc. announced plans last week to establish their first U.S. facility in Chesterfield. BGB designs and manufactures electrical and optical slip ring assemblies for rotary applications, including components for wind turbine sytems. The company also designs and makes underwater lighting and camera systems and wireless Ethernet bridge systems. BGB has been in operation for over 30 years and is a leader in the slip ring and brush holder market in the United Kingdom. They plan to invest over $2 million and employ 15 as they ramp up their new operation. The new facility will be located on Port Walthall Drive in southern Chesterfield.
