Man used stolen credit card in January

The Chesterfield/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs the community’s help to catch an unknown man who used a stolen credit card to make fraudulent purchases at Target at 4601 Commonwealth Parkway on Friday, Jan. 22.

The victim dropped her credit card at Panera Bread at 4701 Brad McNeer Parkway. She learned the card had already been used to make purchases when she contacted the bank.

The suspect is a black male, 20-30 years old with short, black hair. He was wearing dark clothing. Photos of the suspect can be viewed at crimesolvers.net.

Anyone with information about any unsolved crime or wanted person in the communities or schools of Chesterfield County or the city of Colonial Heights can call Crime Solvers at 748-0660, submit a tip online at crimesolvers.net or Text-A-Tip by texting “tip699” plus the tip to 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S). All three methods are anonymous. If a tip helps solve a crime or catch a fugitive, the person who submitted it could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Don’t forget to register for the coming golf tournament at the Birkdale Golf Club on April 15. Participants can register by calling 748-1278 or visiting crimesolvers.net. The golf tournament is Crime Solvers primary fundraiser. It depends on donations from its golf tournaments to pay cash rewards and fund its scholastic programs. Anyone interested in helping should call Crime Solvers’ business office at 748-1278.
