Women used stolen credit card number in October

Crime Solvers needs the community’s help to identify two women who used a stolen credit card number to make fraudulent purchases at Sheetz, 231 East Hundred Road, on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009.

A woman approached a clerk, asked to buy Visa gift cards and presented what appeared to be a Discover Card to pay for the transaction. The clerk asked for the woman’s driver’s license when the card would not register in the scanner, and then subsequently entered the card number manually. The clerk later found signature discrepancies after the suspect and a second woman left the store together.

Both suspects are black females. The first suspect is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 185 pounds with long, braided, black hair. The second suspect is older, has short hair and spoke with a noticeably deep voice. They left in a green minivan. Photos can be viewed at crimesolvers.net.
