Shelton gets scholarship for work on offensive line

Trey Shelton has begun his freshman football season at Eastern Kentucky Univeristy having received a scholarship as an offensive lineman.  

Trey played four years of offensive line at L. C. Bird High school, graduating in June 2011. In the fall of 2011 he attended a post-graduate football program at Hargrave Military Academy, which resulted in his being recruited by EKU and awarded a full scholarship.

His first game will be against Purdue on Sept 1. He is the son of Rhea and Angel Shelton of Chester, the grandson of the Honorable Judge William Shelton and the late Linda Shelton of Chester.
