Public hearings on the following items are scheduled for the Planning Commission’s April 20 evening meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m. and take place in the Public Meeting Room of the Chesterfield Administration Building:

  • In the Bermuda District, Richmond 20 MHz LLC requests conditional use and amendment of zoning district map to permit a communications tower in an agricultural (A) district on 1.9 acres located 150 feet off the southeast line of Silverdust Lane, 800 feet east of Cypress Vine Drive. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for residential use of 2.0 or 4.0 units per acre or less.
  • In the Matoaca District, New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC (AT&T) requests conditional use and amendment of zoning district map to permit a communications tower in an agricultural (A) district on 25.3 acres fronting 20 feet on the south line of Hickory Road, 1890 feet west of Matoaca Road. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for residential use of 1 unit per acre or less.
  • In the Dale District, Carrie Coyner requests amendment to zoning (Case 04SN0182) and amendment of zoning district map to seek relief of an existing delinquency in payment of a transportation contribution and to modify the payment schedule in a residential (R-40) district on 418.1 acres fronting 1100 feet on south line of Nash Road, 3100 feet northeast of East Fair Drive, and also fronting 1350 feet on east line of East Fair Drive, across from Lylwood Lane. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for residential use of 1-5 acre lots; suited to R-88 zoning.
  • In the Dale District, Cascade Creek Homes, Inc. requests rezoning and amendment of zoning district map from residential (R-9) to neighborhood business (C-2) on 12.5 acres located in the northeast corner of the intersection of Cogbill Road and Five Forks Lane. Density will be controlled by zoning conditions or Ordinance standards. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for neighborhood mixed use.
  • In the Matoaca District, Pegasus Tower Company Ltd. requests conditional use and amendment of zoning district map to permit a communications tower in a Residential (R-9) District on 0.2 acre fronting 20 feet on the north line of Timber Bluff Parkway, 550 feet east of Woolridge Road. Density will be controlled by zoning conditions or ordinance standards. The Comprehensive Plan suggests the property is appropriate for public use.
