Max got it right

Hello and welcome back to the wonderful world of television in the Dogpound.    I am sure many of you are fans of America’s Got Talent (AGT) and watched them a few weeks ago pick the final winner for 2012.  Now Max tells me he knew who the winner would be all along.  I asked him how he knew and he gave me the following detailed analysis.  The Untouchables…the young dance group; there were too many of them…reminded him of a litter of puppies running all over the place.  Made him tired just watching them dance.  Then the artist that painted with sand…well anything involving sand is associated with cats, so that was definitely out.  The painters….he has a philosophy [getting deep here] that anyone that wears glasses with no lens cannot be trusted.  The comedian…he could not understand any of the jokes; and the harp guy...at least to Max’s super hearing, his playing sounded like a couple of  cats in a back-alley fight.  Which left of course the dog act that, at least in my opinion, was a dark horse winner that night.  Other than being a dog act, I believe Max chose them to win because he has a crush on one of the dogs.  Max quit staring at me… I know it is true.  Besides it cannot be your initial opinion that anything they could do, you could do better and I should have entered you into the contest.  You are a bit crazy;  you cannot even roll over anymore,  not alone do a back-flip.  Max…now don’t try that back-flip.  Well, there you go Max…satisfied??  I will go get the ice.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

“We rarely think people have good sense unless they agree with us.”  Francois de La Rochefoucauld

QUICKIES

  • The economy is so bad that even Motel 6 will no longer keep their light on.
  • You know the economy is bad when Hot Wheels stock is trading higher that GM stock.
  • Trust me.  The government can fix health care just like we did with Amtrak, the Post Office, and Social Security.
  • What comes after Trillion?  I don’t know but the government will shortly.
  • By the time a man realizes that maybe his father was right, he usually has a son who thinks he’s wrong.
  • Propaganda is persuading people to make up their minds while withholding some of the facts from them.

I need to stop here.  I have a baby-whiner that I have to take care of now.  As always be good, play safe, and remember to never discount good sense.
