Resource directory now available for seniors and those with disabilities

The Chesterfield Council on Aging has published its biennial Resource Directory of Services for Older Adults and Individuals with Disabilities in Chesterfield County. The directory is intended to help older adults and adults with disabilities to find the resources and services they need to remain independent. It also provides information useful to their families, caregivers, professionals and providers of services.

It contains the names, addresses, telephone numbers and websites of Chesterfield County Human Service Departments and other government agencies, as well as for-profit and nonprofit organizations that provide services and resources for seniors and individuals with disabilities, and their caregivers.

The Crossings at Bon Air, Hospice of Virginia, Lucy Corr Village and Riverside PACE have generously provided the funding for printing the resource directories.

Residents can find the directory at any Chesterfield County Public Library or at chesterfield.gov/seniorservices. For more information, contact Debbie Leidheiser, senior advocate, 804-768-7878.
