Chester Presbyterian’s Blessing of the Animals Friends 10 a.m. Oliver D. Rudy Center Patio located behind the church. All people who love animals, along with their pets, are invited. Rt. 10 and Osborne Road.

Artist Ron Ervin and the Ervin Collection will be on display at the Chester Library. The opening reception will be on Saturday, Oct. 6, 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. in the Maud Hurt Meeting Room. Eppington Heritage Day. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eppington is a circa-1765 plantation built by Francis Eppes VI, Thomas Jefferson’s brother-in-law.
