With less than 50 days until election-day, Vice President Biden traveled to Chesterfield on Tuesday, Sept. 25, to deliver remarks at a grassroots event at the Exhibition Hall on the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds.
Vice President Biden was introduced by Marjorie Clark, a retired teacher from Thomas Dale High School. During his address, he highlighted the clearest choice Americans have faced in a generation; the choice between moving the country forward with an economy built to last from the middle-out or returning to top-down economics that failed Virginia’s middle-class families in the past. He stated that the President has a real and achievable plan that will create jobs, expand opportunity and invests in education and infrastructure.
“On every issue, this isn’t just a choice between two candidates or two parties – it’s a choice between two fundamentally different visions for our country’s future,” he said.
In Virginia, the President’s middle-class tax cuts are already having an impact on millions of families.
