INVESTIGATION: Man struck, killed crossing Jefferson Davis Highway

The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a vehicle crash in which a pedestrian was struck in the 9700 block of Jefferson Davis Highway at approximately 10:40 pm. on Oct. 4, 2012.
Police say a vehicle traveling southbound on Jefferson Davis Highway struck a pedestrian attempting to cross the roadway. The pedestrian, Billy C. Edwards, 58, of Chesterfield County, was killed in the incident. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
