Police are investigating an apparent domestic-related murder-suicide that occurred on Fox Maple Terrace June 15. Just after 10 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, police were dispatched to a residence in the 5700 block of Fox Maple Terrace to check the welfare of a subject. Upon arrival, police heard multiple gunshots. Police soon found bystanders attempting to aid Renotta I. Jernigan, 30, and her 2-year-old son, Seth Jernigan, who had both been shot.

Bring those quotas to my street

A police patrol car whisked by me at about 60 MPH. You’ve seen it before. You wonder why the cops have to go 60 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. Surly they are not out to make the second part of their quota for the day. There is not an emergency that calls for a cop to go that fast.

On July 8, one child died after being left in a hot vehicle in Ridgefield, Connecticut, while a store employee in Jacksonville, Florida, found a second child before serious injury occurred.
