Thomas Dale Girls, Community Boys come up short in States

Ka’lia Johnson’s high school career came to end last Saturday as the Lady Knights fell by the slim margin of five points, 70-65. The defeat came at the hands of Forest Hill High School (Woodbridge, VA) in the quarterfinals of the VHSL girl’s state tournament.

Johnston volleyball player of the week

Bradley Johnston, a graduate of Thomas Dale in 2009 was voted Lindenwood University player of the week and NAIA National player of the week for volleyball (NCAA Division I-II). He is also on the fall semester dean’s list at Lindenwood. Bradley was 2009 state player of the year and state champion with Thomas Dale in 2008.

Adam White, a Thomas Dale High School senior, is a 6’1”, 240 lb. center who earned Second Team All-District honors as the Man in the Middle after helping the Knights capture the AAA Division Six State Championship in 2009.
