In a game that was marked by one big play after another, the homestanding L.C. Bird Skyhawks finally put the game away in the waning moments with a 64-yard scamper by Kie Johnson. The score, giving Bird its final 36-23 margin, capped a 184-yard effort by Johnson that included three touchdowns.
