TDHS and its PTSA join forces for fundraiser

Description:

Thomas Dale High School (TDHS) and its Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) are partnering to host a big event for the school on Friday,March 28.  The PTSA is holding a “Drive 4UR School” fundraising event with Haley Ford in conjunction with the school’s annual STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) Fair.  The fundraiser runs from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the STEAM Fair will be held from 6p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  PTSA is reaching out for the community’s support.

Presquile National Wildlife Refuge Public “Field Day” is April 12

Description:

The public is invited to join the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and their partners to celebrate the beauty and benefits of nature.  Presquile National Wildlife Refuge is a 1,329 acre island in the James River.  

Parking and boat transportation will occur at 4700 Bermuda Hundred Rd., Chester.

Both the event and parking are free of charge.
