A host of solid returning players and one of the deepest Meadowbrook squads will take aim at a Conference 12 championship in coach Gabriel Hochstetler’s third season. Boys Soccer Coming off a Conference 12 Championship and a 5A South region appearance, Matoaca boys soccer will look to quickly reload and fend off Meadowbrook once again for a championship. Last year’s 13-2-3 season culminated in a defensive battle, a 1-0 loss to Hermitage. Three key components of the team are gone: one of those is Davis Topping, Conference 12 Player of the year and 2nd Team All-State honoree. Also departing is fellow All-State honoree and defender David Kim, and first team all-conference 12 midfielder Alec Sadler. Easter Sunrise Service at Henricus

Bermuda Baptist Church will hold an Easter Sunrise Service on the bluff at Henricus Park, located at 251 Henricus Park Rd., Chester Va 23836. The service will take place on March 27 @ 7 a.m. There will be light refreshments, after the service. In the event of rain, there will not be an alternative location.
