Chesterfield – The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia, in partnership with Chesterfield County Department of Parks and Recreation will present the Historical Haunts Series at Historic Magnolia Grange House Museum, 10020 Iron Bridge Rd.

Join Spirited History Investigations, a team of professional paranormal investigators, as they explore the haunting history of Chesterfield through a variety of specialty programs during the month of October. Paranormal Workshop “Halloween Symbolism and Superstitions”

This program will focus on the folklore and history surrounding this pagan holiday Sat., Oct. 8 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. $10 per person.
“A Night at the Museum with Edgar Allen Poe”

This haunting program will engage the public by experiencing the history and readings from Edgar Allen Poe portrayed by Chris Semptner, historian of the Poe Museum who will create the life of Edgar Allen Poe. Following the readings, Spirited History will share their haunting tales from their investigations at the Poe Museum. Saturday, Oct. 22 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. $10 per person
