Warehouse, gravel road planned by EDA

A 250,000-square-foot office/warehouse is in the planning stages for the Ruffin Mill Industrial Park in South Chesterfield.

A site plan says that Rosyln Farms Corp. of Colonial Heights plans to build on 17 acres at 801 Port Walthall Road in the Walthall Enterprise Zone. Some 91 employees would work in the building, according to the site plan.

The Chesterfield Economic Development Authority is involved with the project, county planner Steve Prusik said.
The site plan has not yet been approved.

Other site plans
*A site plan for a gravel road owned by the Chesterfield Economic Development Authority was approved by the county Planning Department on Aug. 2.
Details are scant, as is typical with EDA-related projects.
The road would be located east of Interstate 295 as an extension of Bermuda Hundred Road. The road would run north-south on 7.68 acres parallel to the freeway.

*Veolia North America Regeneration Services, LLC has applied for a building addition for an office/workshop at 1201 Bellwood Road.
The building expansion would be 8,400 square feet and 21 feet in height on 1.15 acres.

*Stanley Shield LLC of Richmond is proposing to build a 6,202-square-foot medical office on 1.55 acres at 11301 Iron Bridge Road near Iron Bridge Parkway.
The building would be 16 feet in height. Zoning for the property is C-3.
