Heritage Chevrolet partners with two area Little Leagues

Heritage Chevrolet - Richmond recently announced that it is partnering with the Chesterfield Little League and the Central Chesterfield Little League, a press release from the company says. Heritage Chevrolet - Richmond will provide each league with baseball equipment, instructional clinics, a monetary donation and an opportunity to raise an additional $10,000 in funds through a Chevy vehicle giveaway-fundraiser, the release says.

Chester girls carry decade-long winning streak into final meet

Waldrop unhittable in leading Dale to 7-0 start

Thomas Dale junior Lacey Waldrop proved she was not fooling in firing a perfect game on April 1 versus visiting Hopewell. She followed that up with more domination, leading the Knights to a championship in the Colonial Heights Holiday Tournament last week. Tournament entries included some of the better teams in the Central Region, and the championship elevated coach Dennis Jones’ team to the top of the class in area softball.
