Explore Chesterfield County’s diverse trails by registering for the Great Park Challenge (GPC). The GPC encourages individuals and families to visit five different county parks in order to answer questions about the parks. Registration will take place Saturday, June 6, at 8 a.m. at any one of the five parks.
The five parks included in the GPC include: Radcliffe Conservation Area, Dodd Park at Point of Rocks, Dutch Gap Conservation Area, Rockwood Park and Robious Landing Park.
Registrants will download or print a map and questions for each park. There will be five questions per park. Everyone who correctly answers all the questions will be eligible to win a $50 credit toward an outdoor recreation program. Two winners will be selected. The GPC will run from June 6 to June 15. Registration is online only and answers must be submitted via email, so all registrants must have internet access and provide an email address in order to participate. The GPC is free, and registration is open now.
