The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia (CHSV) will present a lecture on Civil War Medal of Honor Recipient Joshua Chamberlain at the historic Magnolia Grange House Museum on Saturday, June 20, at noon.
According to local historian Jack Bantle who will present the lecture, “Joshua Chamberlain was a college professor in Maine with no military training when he volunteered during the Civil War for the Union Army.
