Thomas Dale picked up four wins, only falling to Cosby and had five wrestlers go 5-0 or 4-1 on the day. Caleb Oberly (106), Angelo Scott (120), Blake Correa (126), Jealon Williams (138), and Chris Collins (152) were among the standouts. Scott, Correa and Collins were all unblemished.
The Knights graduated the dominant Corey Leonard last year and were without two key combatants in Roderick “Main” Wilson (160) and D.J. Williams (195). Anchored by a very solid group of wrestlers in the lower weight classes headlined by Scott and Correa, Thomas Dale figures to compete in the Conference 3 Championships.
