James “Jim” M. Holland, CPA, has been elected as the chair of the Virginia Board of Accountancy’s Standard-Setting Advisory Committee. 
Holland was appointed by Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe in July 2016.
He also is the Dale District representative on the Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors.
The Virginia Board of Accountancy (VBOA) supports the accounting profession not only in the Commonwealth, but on the national level as well. Current and previous board members, as well as the VBOA Executive Director, serve on committees and roles with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy.
