At about 10:30 a.m. May 5, Chesterfield officers responded to a report of a man found deceased in Falling Creek near the 2500 block of Marina Drive.
The man has been identified as Edward D. Mendez, 38, of the 2500 block of Marina Drive. Mendez had been reported missing by his family around 11 p.m. May 2. The body was transported to the office of the chief medical examiner. A cause of death has not yet been determined, but at this point there are no signs of foul play.
