A 71-year-old man who was involved in a two-vehicle crash Nov. 29 has succumbed to injuries.
Harvey L. Parks, 71, died Tuesday, Dec. 4. He was transported to an area hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries following a crash at the intersection of River and Ivey Mill roads around 11:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, according to Chesterfield police.
Parks was driving east on River Road in a 2001 Dodge Ram pickup when a 2017 Freightliner box truck that was headed west on River Road approached the intersection and attempted to make a left turn.
The driver of the box truck, Chesterfield resident Brandon S. Adams, 26, was charged with failing to yield.
