Job seekers and those who would like to explore future career options are invited to stop by John Tyler Community College for two part-time Job and Internship Fairs.
At these events, area employers will be on hand to discuss current part-time job and internship opportunities available in Central Virginia.
They first will be held 10: 30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Midlothian Campus, 800 Charter Colony Pkwy., T Building, first floor.
Employers for the Midlothian event include: A Sharper Palate Catering, Buffalo Wild Wings, U.S. Census Bureau, Chesterfield Parks and Recreation, Coca Cola Consolidated, Democratic Party of Virginia Take the Majority 2019, Glen Sturtevant – Virginia Senate, Kiddie Academy of West Creek, Mathnasium, SOAR365, the Country Club of Virginia and the YMCA of Greater Richmond.
The second fair will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 19 at the Chester Campus, 13101 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Moyar Hall, second floor.
Employers for the Chester event include: AdvanSix, U.S. Census Bureau, Chesterfield Parks and Recreation, Coca Cola Consolidated, Take the Majority (Virginia Democratic Party), Transamerica Agency Network and Walmart Supply Chain.
The fairs are open to the community, and there is no charge to attend.
