Police investigating Kingston Avenue armed robbery

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police are investigating an armed robbery of the Mapco
Express and Subway restaurant at 13200 Kingston Avenue at about 2:19 a.m. on Sunday,
March 18. No one was injured during the incident.

Police said one man entered the business, displayed a firearm, and demanded money
from both the clerk of the Mapco Express and Subway restaurant. The man is suspected of stealing money
from both businesses and several boxes of tobacco products from the Mapco Express. The
suspect fled the area in a silver SUV type of vehicle that was waiting nearby, a press release states.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall and wearing a blue jacket
with a hood, black pants with white stripes, dark shoes with white soles, dark gloves and a
dark mask. The suspect was also carrying a black backpack.

Police continue their investigation into this incident. Anyone with information should
