Twins Jeremiah Hill and Josiah Hill are going to Hampton University, and Shahmique Crowell will head west to Longwood University. That’s three Division I scholarships for the program. When L.C. Bird High School won the boys’ indoor state championship this winter, they did it with balance throughout the team. While only one athlete won an event, they piled up the points to win the title as a team. The Penn Relays is one of the biggest events on the East Coast, and a team of 10 athletes was brought by L.C. Bird to Philadelphia to compete.
