0Thomas Dale High School’s boys soccer team experienced a renaissance of sorts in coach Griff Fowler’s third year at the helm after his father, Mark Fowler, handed him the reins. 0Four straight state championships don’t come without talent, and talent is rarely missed when it comes to college scholarships. L.C. Bird High School’s boys track team celebrated sending three athletes to the next level recently. Twins Jeremiah Hill and Josiah Hill are going to Hampton University, and Shahmique Crowell will head west to Longwood University. That’s three Division I scholarships for the program. The Hill twins, who have teamed up on just about everything in their lives, teamed up on state-championship-caliber 4×800-meter-relay teams together. County approves grant to build hotel/conference center
