Where I used to live until recently, I had deer walking through my yard almost daily, and I figured a garden had little chance of surviving. 0Meadowbrook High student Liz Hernandez helped plant broccoli and cabbage at Shalom Farms, 2676 Venita Road, on April 25. She was part of Gwendolyn Goode’s Family and Consumer Science class. Bird High School principal Adrienne Blanton gave a sentimental speech noting this was her first graduating class as a principal. “This group is one of the most active senior classes I’ve ever seen,” she said, as she recognized students who participated in sports, clubs and community service. 17-year-old girl facing murder charge in Poole’s death

Poole A 17-year-old North Chesterfield resident was recently indicted on a charge of first-degree murder, joining two other co-defendants who also face the same charge. Anayah Naree Daily was indicted by a grand jury May 20 in relation to the April 29, 2018, shooting death of Breland O. Poole, 19.
