0Former Green Bay Packers fullback, Super Bowl XXXI champion and Thomas Dale graduate William “Boogie” Henderson visited Thomas Dale High School on October 23, and presented a commemorative Wilson Golden Football. The presentation was part of the Super Bowl High School Honor Roll that celebrates high schools and communities that have contributed to Super Bowl history. The NFL Foundation provides the schools with a new character education curriculum and the opportunity to apply for grants of up to $5,000 to help support and grow their football programs. The senior class selected as their king and queen Justin Dyke and Taylor Thomas-Harris, two outstanding Matoaca student leaders. Justin is a varsity football and soccer player and senior class vice president.
