CCPS: 91 percent grad rate

According to data released by the Virginia Department of Education, 91 percent of Chesterfield County Public Schools students who entered ninth grade in 2011 graduated in four years. The school division’s on-time graduation percentage topped the state average of 90.5 percent. Fifty-six percent of Chesterfield County’s class of 2015 graduated with a more rigorous advanced studies diploma, according to VDOE records. The school division’s percentage topped the state average of 52 percent.
