New retail and residential on the books for Jefferson Davis Highway
0Chester could see some improvements just north of Route 10. Two separate developments, one a combination retail and multifamily, and the other an over 55 development, could be completed in 2017. Shoppes Moore’s Lake is beginning to offer preleases through Thalhimer Real Estate. The retail space will total 300,000 square feet with the smallest spaces to be about 1,200 square feet to the largest at 82,000 square feet, large enough for a grocery store or other large retailer. 0I am often asked “Hey Larry, what can I spray for this or that?” Before I answer, I will ask if the weed, insect, fungus or other pest they want to control has been positively identified. The answer is often “no.” Here is a tip: Some garden issues cannot be solved with a spray. Now is an excellent time to collect a sample of the pest or pest damaged plant and have it positively identified. What Can I Say?
0As I write this, I am beginning the final week of a 28-day journey in South Africa. When you read this, I will have been home for about nine days. The Lord has allowed me to see so many things.
