0Pedestrian struck by vehicle dies The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred Sunday, April 5, 2020. Police said that at around 8:30 p.m. an adult male pedestrian had attempted to run across the Southbound travel lanes near the 6300 block of Jefferson Davis Highway, when he was struck by a Kia Optima traveling South. The pressure placed on properly operating equipment is greater than normal. Cooking at home has become the norm, rather than the exception.
