In the 2019 season, he had 103 tackles, four sacks, one interception, and one fumble recovery. He was one of the best linebackers in the region. 0Call center will focus on general county operations and services during COVID-19 response The Chesterfield County Emergency Operations Center has announced the opening of a call center for Chesterfield residents who have general questions about county operations and services during the COVID-19 response. 0When Chesterfield County schools announced recently that students would be out of classes for a month, several concerns crossed my thoughts. The coronavirus was a concern for elderly citizens in the community. The additional pressing matter of interest was that the education in public schools was at a standstill. Personally, for me, all of my extracurricular activities have been postponed for an undisclosed amount of time. In spite of my doubts, I was pleasantly surprised that those matters have not become a reality. My grandparents have remained healthy at this time. Schools closed for remainder of academic year
0Gov. Ralph Northam issued a statewide order to protect the health and safety of Virginians and reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19. Executive Order Fifty-Three orders the closure of certain non-essential businesses, bans all gatherings of more than 10 people, and closes all K-12 schools for the remainder of the academic year. Governor Northam is also urging all Virginians to avoid non-essential travel outside the home, if and when possible. This order goes into effect at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 and will remain in place until 11:59 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2020.

Enon Volunteer FD donates rescue equipment to Belize
0Enon firefighters donated their used Hurst Rescue equipment to the non-profit Virginia Emergency Services Assistance Program, which will be sending the equipment to the country of Belize for firefighters and rescue personnel to utilize. This equipment will make a huge difference for many people in Belize, officials said. “We were fortunate enough to receive a grant from Altria to replace the Hurst rescue equipment with newer, battery, powered rescue equipment several months ago, and we wanted to pay it forward to other first responders in need,” said Captain Chris Taylor of Enon Volunteer Fire Department.
