King earns Eagle Scout rank

Gail King Aaron Keith King of Boy Scout Troop 819, sponsored by St. John’s Episcopal Church, received his Eagle Scout with a Bronze Palm on Saturday, February 22.  Aaron is the son of Keith King and Karen Marshall.  Aaron would like to thank everyone who guided and helped him in completing his project to obtain this award, especially Chesterfield Parks and Recreation Department.

Goodman, an “Associate I” majoring in AT in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, from Chesterfield, VA, is among the Virginia Tech students named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2019 semester. We have some great auto repair facilities in Chester, but today, one of those facilities set itself apart from all the rest in my book. In June of last year, I took my truck to a well-known repair facility for a complete brake job. Everything was fine until just recently, when the front discs showed signs of warping. L.C. Bird’s indoor track team after winning another championship. Over three-seasons, Skyhawks have won five track championships For L.C. Bird boys’ track, championships have become an almost constant occurrence.
