The following individuals have been selected to join the L.C. Bird Sports Hall of Fame for 2016. They are: Brett Mietus, All-State football; Bill Carnahan, basketball; Justin Gorman, All-State baseball; Caroline Stolle, softball; Walter Gilliam, retired assistant football coach; and Jim Watters, retired football defensive coordinator and assistant track coach. Introductions will be made at the Bird-Manchester home football game on September 16, with an induction ceremony to be held on Saturday, September 17, at the Highlands Golf Club.
