The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to identify and locate a bank robbery suspect.

On Wednesday, July 27, at approximately 3 p.m., a female approached a teller in the Virginia Commonwealth Bank branch at 3209 Boulevard in Colonial Heights. She gave the teller a note demanding money, and upon receiving the money she left the bank on foot in an unknown direction.

Then on Thursday, Aug. 4, just prior to 4 p.m., the same female handed a robbery note to a teller in the Bank of McKenney at 200 Johnson Creek Drive in Chesterfield County. After receiving the money, she again left on foot.

In both cases, the suspect was described as a dark-complexioned black female who appeared to be in her 30s or 40s. She wore a black-and-red checkered long-sleeved shirt, large-lens sunglasses and a dark hair net.
