tuba-girlCHESTER – The KidsZone at ChesterFest promises great fun for kids as it was last year with an added twist. As music drifts across the lawns of the Chester Village Green and area bands bring an eclectic mix of sounds, the KidsZone will not only have an animal petting zoo, but also an eco-friendly musical petting zoo with instruments.

“Christian Life will be manning the KidsZone for the fourth time this year and have once again added a fun touch to the Fest,” said Elliott Fausz, organizer of the festival and president of the Chester Community Association. “The idea of ChesterFest is to bring neighbors and community members to meet while enjoying a day of music, fun, crafts, and food.”

This year’s KidsZone will feature an inflatable climbing wall, an obstacle course, and new games. There will also be, following the festival musical theme, music for the young crowd on the Village Green Stage. A photo booth will be open to capture the memory and enjoyment of ChesterFest.

According to organizers at Christian Life, ChesterFest gives kids and families a fun place to be together. Volunteers all have a great time and they are really excited.

Family competitions with prizes and other entertainment will continue throughout the entire event to keep everyone entertained. In addition to fun activities there will be important information for parents and an art station to make crafts.

You do not want to miss out on this opportunity to spend a Saturday bonding with the family in a fun and exciting new way. ChesterFest will be held Sept. 17 at the Chester Village Green, 11801 Centre St., Chester. ChesterFest is presented by the Chester Community Association and sponsors.
