Meadowbrook grad wins Bravo! award

CHESTERFIELD – A Meadowbrook High graduate is among the winners of the Chesterfield Education Foundation’s 2018 Bravo! Awards.

Vincent Ellis White works for Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia. He serves as program manager in the community workforce department, where he oversees the Richmond and Hampton Roads areas. A 1998 Meadowbrook High graduate, White is a best-selling author and highly-regarded speaker.

White said everything that he is involved in revolves around community building and creating social change.

The Bravo! awards recognize outstanding professional and community achievements of Chesterfield County Public Schools’ alumni.

During the past nine years, recipients have ranged from professional athletes, musicians and doctors to entrepreneurs and business leaders who have made an exceptional impact on their professions and community. A gala dinner will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel Nov. 8 to honor this year’s recipients.
