County has 46 schools with full accreditation

Three out of every four Chesterfield County schools are being designated as fully accredited for at least the next two school years based on sustained levels of high academic achievement. In all, 46 Chesterfield County schools will benefit from state legislation passed in 2016 that says public schools in Virginia that had been fully accredited for three straight years would be fully accredited for three more years. Former Longwood women’s basketball standout Eboni Gilliam has signed a contract to continue her basketball career in Spain, signing with Club Naticio Terrassa in the Spanish city of Terrassa. “Eboni has worked extremely hard for this opportunity,” said Longwood head coach Bill Reinson. “When we recruited her, she said that playing professionally overseas was something she wanted to accomplish.
