G.W. Carver Middle School’s library program was awarded the Virginia Association of School Librarians (VAASL) Library Program of the Year. This is a state award that recognizes a School Library Program which is fully integrated into the school’s curriculum and as such is central to the learning process.
Librarians Debbie Floyd and Stephanie Stargardt are the librarians at Carver and will be recognized at an awards dinner in the fall in Williamsburg, Va.
