The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program is asking for your help this week to solve a cold case homicide.
Just before 12:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2014, officers responded to the 3300 block of Meadowdale Boulevard for a report of multiple shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located two adult male shooting victims. One of the men, David Emmanuel-Sinclair Copeland, 23, of the 3300 block of Meadowdale Boulevard, died at the scene. The second victim was transported to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Copeland led the Chesterfield Community High School basketball team for four years and holds school records in several categories.
