The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program is asking for your help this week to solve a shooting case.
On June 11, 2015 at approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to West Road due to shots being fired in the area. While on scene, additional calls for service came in from the area of the Stevens Hollow and Rolling Wood apartment complexes, also referencing shots fired. Throughout the course of the investigation, police discovered a moving vehicle was struck by a bullet. The driver of the vehicle was grazed by that bullet, but, thankfully, not seriously injured. Homes were also struck by bullets in Ashley Village on Sexton Drive and Kim Drive.
Police are now turning to the public for assistance with this case. If you saw anything in the area at the time in question, please help police clear this case.
