This summer, Chesterfield County 4-H will be hosting a youth water rocket design competition. This competition will be open to both middle and elementary school students and will culminate in a final rocket launch extravaganza near the end of summer. You will have a month to research, design and build your rocket using basic supplies and a plastic 2 liter bottle. Information can be obtained from Chesterfield County Central Library. Final day to register for the competition is August 5. The competition will be held on August 22. After the competition, you will be able to make changes to your design and submit it to the Chesterfield County Fair competition.
The competition will have three main contest:

2) Best overall design using the engineering design process
3) Best engineering design reflection journal
