The members of Chester United Methodist Church want to invite everyone in the community to join them for Gospel on the Green on Sunday, September 20. There will be three food trucks available from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.on the lawn of the Chester Village Green. Featured vendors will include: Boka Taco Cart, Jem’s Caribbean Cuisine, and Smok N Pigz Barbecue. They will have free hot dogs for children, and free bottled water and popcorn for everyone (as long as supplies last). The children are sure to have a blast in our bouncy castles!
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and soak up the sun as Allison Speer performs a free concert at 1 p.m. Allison is a regular on the Bill Gaither Homecoming Tours and one of the finest southern gospel artists in the nation. Her down home humor and impeccable vocals are sure to make your day.
